Dr Mohsen Hassani is a highly regarded skin cancer practitioner with extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of skin cancers. Since 2008, he has dedicated his career to addressing the growing burden of skin cancer in Australia, with a full-time focus on skin cancer medicine and surgery since completing his Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) at The University of Queensland in 2017.
Dr Hassani is recognised for his expertise in complex skin cancer surgeries, including advanced excisions, flaps, and grafts. He is a published author in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and is deeply committed to advancing the field through education. As Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland, he plays a key role in training the next generation of skin cancer clinicians and regularly delivers workshops across Australia.
