Dr Carmen Gutierrez has been working at Melanoma Scan since 2009. She holds a Masters of Medicine (Skin Cancer) awarded by the University of Queensland. She is also an Accredited Member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
After completing her Medical degree and General Practice specialisation in Spain she has worked extensively as a General Practitioner in different countries. She moved to Australia in 1998 and worked in rural Queensland as well as in the Northern Territory. She gained her Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004. She has always had an interest in dermatology, and completed her Masters in skin cancer in 2014.
Dr Carmen Gutierrez aims to provide a comprehensive diagnostic and management approach to skin cancer medicine and is one of our female doctors at Melanoma Scan with bookings available at the our Toombul Skin Cancer clinic.
